Our client a leading distributor of high quality state-of-the-art Building Products has hired SnapDragon Associates to assist them in their search for a Regional Sales Manager in NY, LI, NYC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and performance of all residential sales activities in the NY, LI & Upstate NY territory. This includes staffing and leading an outside sales team of colleagues that will achieve goals for maximum profitability and growth.
Position Qualifications:
~5 + years’ experience in sales management
~Ability to make effective product presentations before small and large groups
~Excellent communication, motivational and interpersonal skills
~Ability to interact at the most senior levels of the organization
~Vast knowledge of supplier relationship management
~Demonstrated organization skills and basic computer skills
~Highly motivated self-starter and ability to work independently
~Ability to travel to customers, trade shows or remote offices on a regular basis as needed
~Valid State Driver’s License / Insurable for driving
~Stong understanding of Customer Market Dynamics and Position Requirements
Pay commensurate with experience and includes an excellent base, bonus, expenses, vehicle & phone
