Description:
NYS Licensed Psychiatrist Wanted Part-Time in our psychiatric outpatient facility in Brooklyn.

To perform psychiatric assessments to determine diagnoses and prescribe plan of treatment, provide psychiatric treatment (patient observation, interviews, counseling, medication management etc. as per treatment plan and performs follow-up assessments to determine mental health status of each client and to plan for discharge.

Essential Functions:

Perform psychiatric assessments on individuals referred for service.
Prescribe and implement treatment plans.
Reassess client's mental health status routinely and periodically to determine readiness for discharge planning.
Respond and provide assistance for psychiatric and medical emergencies.
Prescribe medications and monitor for side effects, drug interactions etc.
Required Skills
Currently licensed as a Physician by the New York State Department of Education, registered by the Drug Enforcement
