Job Description:
Looking for a Nurse Practitioner Director of Patient Care Services. The candidate will assume a 24-hour responsibility for multiple units within a designated service line for the overall assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on the service.
Qualifications for this position include:
•Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program, required.
•Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND a Nurse Practitioner New York State.
•American Nurse Credentialing Center Certification (ANCC) required. Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
•Minimum of ten (10) years experience which includes five (5) years nurse practitioner experience in a specialty area and minimum of five (5) years progressive management experience, required.
•Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills required.
