our client is looking for a senior user experience designer. This is a full-time position with a major brokerage company.
Dynamic User Experience professional to lead and contribute to the design of a great experience for our customers across desktop, web-based and mobile applications. In this role, you’ll be responsible for understanding business and user requirements and work with product managers and developers to improve user efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction.
•5 to 10 years experience in User Experience design
•Be comfortable in a leadership or team member role.
•Involvement in user research activities including usability testing, interviews, work studies and heuristic evaluations. Interpret and review research findings for presentations to product and development teams.
•Contribute to the long-term vision of our platforms from a user perspective.
•Provide creative leadership on new product ideas and keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
•Lead and contribute to the creation of user interface designs; concepts, information architecture, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes and specifications.
•Work with the visual design team to implement visual styles that support platform branding, look and feel, and increase user effectiveness.
•Create and maintain user interface and visual design standards and guidelines.
•Advocate User Experience across the firm and increase awareness and training for groups outside UX.
•Great collaboration and individual problem-solving skills required for data gathering, identifying insights and creating optimal solutions in the user experience.
•Provide a portfolio of game-changing concepts and designs
•Working knowledge of the financial services industry, security markets, and regulations.
•Undergraduate degree plus graduate degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors or equivalent.
