Summary of Objectives:The IT Manager is an integral new member of Mobile Health’s team. The incumbent will support all of the day-to-day operations of the Technology department which consists of traditional infrastructure and end-user IT as well as a team of programmers and project managers that support a proprietary electronic health record system.The IT Manager position works out of Mobile Health’s corporate office in Manhattan, NY. Essential Functions: The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Manages and directs the work of information technology staff including analysists, computer programmers, support and helpdesk associates, project managers, and other computer-related workers.Manage development of programming requirements, system design, project plans, staffing requirements and milestones for system enhancements and development.Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures relevant to the organization.Manages outsourced IT infrastructure vendor that supports all internet connectivity, security, HIPAA compliance, and server maintenance.Responsible for maintenance of IT-related tickets in corporate ticketing system, the setup of new users, management of Office 365, email encryption, Active Directory, and all endpoint IT-equipment.Plan and coordinate activities such as the installation of new end-user hardware and software, and new technology and software solutions.Maintain IT inventory with a focus on organization and documentation.Manage the corporate document management system.Main point of contact for all day-to-day IT operational issues.Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:8 years of progressive experience, of which at least 3 involved managing a team of 5 or more people.Experience working within the healthcare field a plus.Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree a plus.Proven analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to translate technology items to non-technical staffCustomer service centric approach to IT.Experience managing a ticketing system.Experience developing and maintaining budgets. Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional fast-paced office environment with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Position Type / Expected HoursThis is a full time exempt position. Although Mobile Health business days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, this position will also require occasional evening or weekend.TravelThis role does not require travel except on rare occasions for special projects or training.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
