Strong technical / data / web skills are a must along with excellent communication and project management skills.ResponsibilitiesOwn the Data Transformation pipeline interfacing with data providers and data analystsGather requirements and scope out project details with relevant stakeholdersIntegrate new data sources by developing, testing and deploying new data pipelinesCoordinate with data quality team on business rule implementations and day-to-day operationsFix defects and implement enhancements in existing pipelinesSupport data analysts in building dashboards and visualization modelsPerformance turning on the ETL and data analysis queriesQualificationsMust have atleast 10+yrs IT experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS / MIS, or related engineering or technical fieldsProficiency in ETL tools such as Lavastorm, Informatica and/or PentahoExperience in data warehousing concepts (data modeling, architecture, performance tuning, etc…)Experience in automating data acquisition strategies from external sources such as the cloud (AWS S3, Dropbox), API (json/xml), FTP/SFTP, etc…Experience with reporting and data visualization/analysis tools (such as Tableau)Microsoft Excel guru (pivot tables, data analysis, charting, etc…)Outstanding SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills (PostgreSQL is a plus)Experience in Java and/or python is a plus (including data structures and design patterns)Strong analytical and problem solving skills (data analysis)Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and follow up on unfinished businessIf you are interested in this position and feel you would be a good fit, please apply to this job posting.
