Summary:The CureMD Internship Program offers internship opportunities in the form of an in-depth and focused training program for college seniors and recent graduates who are interested in pursuing careers in Health IT. The 12 week program is intended to educate, engage, and equip our interns with the knowledge and skills necessary for a flourishing career in the Health IT space. Candidates that are interested in Sales and Business Development within healthcare and technology will gain valuable hands-on experience working closely with our Sales Team. The program’s ultimate objective is to extend full-time offers to our top performing interns at the end of the 12 week training period.Responsibilities: · Work collaboratively within the Sales Department and cross-functionally to build awareness, generate leads and drive sales· Establish dialogues and cultivate relationships with local and regional healthcare providers directly· Participate in the full cycle of the sales process including lead generation, outreach, nurturing and follow-through· Conduct online and onsite product demonstrations for prospective clients· Distribute marketing materials to current and prospective clients· Attend trade shows and other events· Generate proposals, quotes, and pricing· Provide input on strategic initiatives and suggest innovative ways to meet sales goalsRequirements: · Bachelor’s Degree recipient or rising senior in Business, Communications, Healthcare or a related major from an accredited college/university.· Ability to work up to 32 - 40 hours per week· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Strong interfacing and negotiation skills· Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities· Passionate about Healthcare and improving the lives of patients· Energetic, tenacious, extroverted, competitive, and self-motivated· Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment.Program Format:· Candidates that are selected for participation in our program are required to work a minimum of 32 hours, up to 40 hours per week (4-5 full work days).· Interns will be compensated at a rate of $15 per hour for the duration of the training program. · The training program spans 12 weeks and entails very intensive and focused training for a wide variety of knowledge and competencies essential to a successful career in the Health IT space.· Following the 12 week training period, each intern will undergo a comprehensive evaluation that will measure technical competency, retention of information, engagement, communication/interpersonal skills, team cohesion, and overall performance/productivity.
