A leading global manufacturer of software and hardware products has an immediate opening for a C# Senior Software Engineer out of their NYC metro area (Fort Lee, NJ) location.The C#.Net Software Engineer is responsible for developing innovative consumer oriented Windows based applications to drive unique home and residential automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong C#.Net programming skills and experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)Note: All applicants must have experience in programming Windows software interactions with hardware devices via the C#.net framework OR using C/C++.Do you have the C#.Net and WPF software development skills needed? If yes, read on!Key Required Skills:At least 4-5 years of overall software development experience.Must have C#.Net programming experience.Must have experience in programming Windows software interactions with hardware devices via the C#.net framework OR using C/C++.C++ programming experience is preferred.Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) experience is required.Experience developing Windows hosted software that interacts with Windows hardware (phones, tablets and laptops) or experience programming at the firmware level.Working knowledge of protocol specifications and analysis is a nice to haveExperience with communication networks and protocols (e.g. USB, Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc.) are beneficial.Experience with analog and digital audio and video products is a nice to have.Responsibilities:Collaborate with Design Engineering teams to define system and performance requirements and feature set for new software development projects.Code development, debugging and troubleshooting as well as creating feature enhancements.Communicate ideas and specifications to technical audiences (internal and external customers).Participate in architecture and design reviews and board-level design reviews with design engineering, applications, validation and product test engineers.Education:4 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required.Master' s Degree preferred.Work Authorization:Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Position Code: TPM16484
