Technical Operations, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Audio Visual Technician to support our client’s live even AV operations. We role requires the planning and coordination of events as well as serving as a hands on audio visual technician during live events.Duties and responsibilities may include, but is not limited to, the following:• Set up, operate, and tear down audio visual equipment for both meetings and events.• Provide technical assistance to all stakeholders throughout the planning process.• Provide storage, maintenance and quality assurance of inventory that is utilized including the transfer of equipment between rooms and sub-rented equipment.• Identify technical challenges or equipment requiring repair/replacement and report to supervisor.• Escalate client needs and technology capabilities and limitations to the sales team when clients are facing budgetary and/or logistical constraints for events• Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.• Respond to and troubleshoot internal and external client needs and requests.• Provide excellent customer service and strive to exceed expectations and needs of internal and external clients.• Coordinate group presentation/audio/video/lighting needs, troubleshoot and problem solve in high-stress environment while working alongside and partnering with VIP clients and presenters.• Serve as a dedicated, in-room technician for large scale audio visual events.• Provide training and assist with development of fellow team members.• Advise management on future capital purchases and infrastructure projects.
