Role: AV/IT Helpdesk TechnicianClient: Global Financial CompanyLocation: New York, NYType: Full Time - 40 hours a weekCompensation: DOEGeneral: We are seeking an AV/IT Helpdesk Technician to support the Global Media Services division of an international corporation located in New York, NY.The role is a blend of, technical support, customer service, and audio visual support. You will be part of a team responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting the firm’s global videoconference meetings, ensuring the highest-quality conferences and user experience.Training to be provided on the firm's helpdesk software applications.Responsibilities:Providing general telephone and helpdesk customer service and technical support to end users and escalating issue to technical team members.Using the software platform, Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS), and providing live visual technical support to conference rooms via a Virtual Concierge Station to support the centralized control and management of global video/teleconference meetings.Data entry of contact and logistical information supporting the scheduling VTC meetings.Live monitoring videoconference meetingsAssisting new users with dialing into videoconferences and remote logins to view presentationsDispatching technicians to provide onsite audio visual support in conference rooms when neededPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Experience in customer service, hospitality, or technical helpdesk experienceAbility to handle pressure and multi-task in fast faced corporate environmentStrong organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with PCs/Macs and computer related tools including email, Internet, Office, and presentation toolsFamiliarity with any of the following is a plus: of A/V Control Room and remote support operations such as Video Switchers (Sony) Digial Audio Mixers (Yamaha/Mackie), Camera Controllers, Routers (Extron/Evertz), Wireless Microphone systems (AKG/MiPro), Audio and Video Conference Bridging (Codian/Tandberg TMS)Experience with operating multiple endpoint global videoconference meetings a plusKnowledge of audio visual equipment, setup, and maintenance plus
