Position SummaryThe System Administrator is responsible to support all Le Vian employees with respect to hardware and software issues Essential Job Responsibilities1. Maintenance, troubleshooting and administration of¬ Windows Servers and related components¬ Exchange Server 2010¬ Microsoft Office 365¬ Azure infrastructure¬ Hyper V virtualization software¬ System backups2. Maintenance of the Disaster Recovery Plan¬ Develop, test, execute and maintain the plan3. Responsible to facilitate the resolution of all IT related issues ¬ Diagnose and resolve software, network and hardware issues ¬ Rollout, rebuild, upgrade and maintain hardware including but not limited to desktops, laptops, tables, tablets, Smartphone, software and peripherals4. Responsible for network security and performance ¬ Provide on-site and remote support of Server and network infrastructure in a 24/7 environment ¬ Perform operating system and server resources configuration and deployment to support all sales processes5. Maintain documentation of all actions taken¬ Maintain daily log of all new and existing IT issues and related status¬ Prioritize daily issues and facilitate the resolution of such issues through direct contact and involvement and /or escalating the issue to the next level6. Advanced training class and/or certification Working Conditions Physical Requirements¬ Able to sit at and work on a computer for extended periods¬ Able to lift 50 pounds and reach/bend to retrieve hardware and documents in cabinets and on shelves¬ Able to lift, carry, push / pull, reach, kneel, crawl, bend, lift, in an office environmentWork Environment ¬ Typical office environment¬ 24/7 support to be performed on site or remotely. Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met Minimum Qualifications¬ Hands on troubleshooting experience with Cisco and Sonic WALL firewalls, switches and VPN¬ BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience¬ 5 years’ experience as a system administrator¬ Recent certifications (within 5 years) with CISCO, Active Directory, MCSA, MCTS¬ Knowledge of active directory and group policy¬ Hands on experience with networking concepts¬ Hands on troubleshooting experience with Exchange 2010¬ Hands on experience with Power Shell¬ Sense of urgency combined with effective communication skills¬ Proven communication skills verbally and in writing¬ Collaborative¬ Problem solver¬ Organized¬ Detail oriented¬ Self starter and able to work independently¬ Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills combined with sound judgment
