Our client, a leading hedge fund with assets of more than $6 Billion, is seeking a UX Designer to assist in the development of a hedge fund Research Management System. Their passion is technology, and they seek to find talented individuals to help design both a web-based and mobile platform. Their applications improve the efficiency of the firm's proprietary approach to the entire hedge fund management process including research, stock selection, and portfolio management. Software is a core component of this hedge fund's success.
Responsibility: Refine application requirements and design innovative user experiences for Rich Internet Applications (RIA) and mobile platforms (iPad).
Required Skills:
•Entrepreneurial attitude
•Excellent Communications skills
•Adapt to changing business needs in a dynamic environment
•Interpret, refine, and document application requirements with front executive and front office staff
•Design elegant, intuitive, user experiences
•Create wire-frames and full mock-ups of user interfaces
•Develop design elements (icons, navigation tools, layouts, etc)
•Photoshop, Illustrator, Expression, and/or other design tools
Preferred Skills:
• iOS application design and content creation
•Familiar with Apple User interface design standards
•Animation development
