Description
We are in the process of extending our Cloud services to support our business unit partners. We are taking an Agile approach to delivering new service offerings to support both traditional infrastructure and infrastructure as code models. In addition to cloud brokerage, we are implementing services around orchestration, cloud management and governance.
Responsibilities
1.Work with engineers and management to modify or develop standards and procedures governing the installation, configuration and operation of virtualization technologies and services
2.Work with business teams to engineer infrastructure solutions to support their needs
3.Validate requirements documents in Service Level Packages (SLPs). Ensure the creation of traceable, measurable, well documented business requirements
4.Develop high and detailed design documents Service Design Packages (SDPs)
5.Coordinate engineering across technology disciplines (e.g. security, network, storage)
6.Consults with clients and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution. Understands potential impacts to processes and systems across organization and factors these into solutions. Excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills
7.Continual Service Improvement. Continually align IT Services to the changing business needs, through the identification and implementation of improvements to the IT Services, and their supporting business processes
QualificationsQualifications
Qualifications:
1.Bachelors Degree required
2.10 - 15 years relevant experience required
3.ITIL foundation certified
4.Public cloud services (Amazon Cloud Services or Azure Cloud Services preferred)
5.Internal Cloud / Orchestration – Knowledge of industry leading toolsets
6.Engineering/costing high performing, redundant and cost efficient cloud solutions
7.Implementing and supporting cloud solutions within an enterprise
8.Automation, scripting
9.Auto-scaling
10.New technology introductions
11.Hypervisors/virtualization
General Tools:
·Cloudwatch
·Cloudformation
Working knowledge of:
·Networking
·Storage
·Security
·Database
·Middleware (e.g. SOA, messaging)
Tools such as:
·Dynatrace
·SolarWind
·Zabbix
·Jenkins
·Python
Systems management tools:
·Altiris
·Client Server Automation
·Puppet, Bcfg2, Chef
Competencies

The position locations to be determined.
The cloud positions could be in Cary, North Carolina; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; New Providence, New Jersey; New York, NY; or Miamisburg, Ohio
