IT Business Analyst
This role is responsible for the coordination, information gathering and development of system and software application requirements and process workflow. Interface with business stakeholders to gather and document the technical details needed for the development of new software applications as well as new features and changes to existing software applications and systems. Work directly with the development and QA teams to facilitate the translation of requirements into appropriate designs as well as test and deployment plans.

Gather functional requirements and define use cases
Professional document creation
Coordinating multiple concurrent activities
Coordinating and leveraging personnel across departmental boundaries
Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to senior management
Strong analytical and fact gathering skills to derive requirements from symptoms/wants/needs
Very strong interpersonal communication skills including clear and articulate speech
The ability to expertly convey information in non-technical terms with professionalism and confidence
Knowledge of the full software development life cycle
Capacity for adapting to a rapidly changing environment
Ability to work remotely and independently
Accurate and detail oriented
Bachelors Degree in computer science, information technology OR equivalent work experience plus business analysis and project management training.
3-5 years experience developing functional requirements and use cases for software or IT systems
5+ years experience with the Windows operating system
Working knowledge of MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel)
