Title: Software Tester / Test Technician – Mobile Devices
Location: Holtsville, NY 11742
Duration: 6-12+ months (Strong possibility for extension)
Job description:
• Candidate will work with various Windows and Android hand held mobile devices running software test plans, logging issues found and recreating failure scenarios.
• Candidate must be able to clearly and concisely describe failure scenarios both written and orally, so excellent communication skills are a must.
Job Requirement:
• Position requires experience using Windows PCs, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience setting up and using wireless LAN devices and wireless LAN access points as well as power supplies, test equipment and voltmeters is required.
• Tester will be required to run Motorola, Google and Microsoft test plans so experience reading and executing test plans is a must.
• Experience using IBM ClearQuest is also desired.
• Additional responsibilities may include light technical program management duties.
