This popular, authentic French boulangerie, with 100 locations globally, is seeking experienced Restaurant Shift Leader to join their team in NYC. This position offers strong training opportunities and incredible room for growth. The restaurants consist of both a retail bakery and a full service, sit down cafe. All breads and pastries are baked on site daily with a high standard of quality, combining ancestral techniques with a pinch of creative innovation! Supervisors will assist management with daily operations, and generally holding all team members accountable for their work. Supervisors may also assist management in profitability, expense control,inventory control, purchasing and merchandising, regulatory compliance and special projects as assigned by upper management. The Restaurant Shift Leader will act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage them to set goals and strive for advancement.Candidate should have at least 3 years of Supervisory or Shift Leader experience in either a full service or upscale, fast casual setting (preferably some experience with both!). The Shift Leader is someone who thrives on challenge and continually looks for opportunities to learn. They are as comfortable taking responsibility as they are delegating it. Shift leaders understand that customer satisfaction always takes priority, but efficient restaurant operations make it possible. They are friendly, positive, and enthusiastic.
