Major Hospitality Company is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team, Direct Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.Provide monthly analysis of payroll related general ledger accounts. Prepare general ledger entries related to payroll.Ensure that pay practices are in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and other applicable wage and hour regulations.Collect time sheets and calculate employee hours paid.Input weekly payroll information into Paycom payroll software. Review weekly and quarterly payroll registers to ensure accuracy.Maintain Dig Inn database for employee changes (names, addresses, W-4 information, withholdings, etc.).Perform maintenance and audits to ensure accuracy.Assume leadership of the annual W-2 process, ensuring accuracy of information and timely submission of W-2s.Conduct quarterly tax reconciliation.Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory changes to payroll as they impact payroll deductions and taxation.Work directly with our accounting team.Collaborate effectively with all teams especially our Operations team. The ideal candidate must have 2+ years experience processing payroll. Knowledge of payroll-related taxes and regulations. Salary is up to 80K
