The Receiving Manager is responsible for maintaining scheduling and receipt of all product. Oversees the control of purchase orders and customer returns.Manage a team of 4+ employees, including a 2 shift scheduleMaintain integrity of vendor bills of lading versus purchase ordersEstablish and manage processes and procedures to ensure accuracy on inbound product received.Problem solve discrepancies on purchase ordersResearch potential quantity variances as identified by accounts payablerecommend scheduling changes on vendor inbound deliveriesMaintain accuracy on all Pick up Area Collections.Support compliance with all appropriate policies & procedures & safety rulesCommunicate purchase order discrepancies with the Procurement DepartmentCommunicate customer return discrepancies with the Sales DepartmentEstablishes and maintains positive working relationships with Distribution Center AssociatesResponsible for motivating and managing the activities of Receiving ClerksJob Requirements:minimum of 4 years experience in inventory and/or Receiving in a warehouse environmentminimum of 2 years management experiencemust be willing to manage a shift from 5AM to 8PM when necessary, plus alternating Saturdays.Experience with AS400 Software a plusExperience with Microsoft Office Suit requiredExcellent Communications skillsBilingual (fluent in English & Spanish) a plusStrong Organizational Skills with a great attention to detailStrong analytical skillsAbility to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practicesStrong decision-making skills
