The Strategic Customer Supply Chain Analyst supports the Manager of Customer Excellence and has a direct impact on the customer, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams. Their main function is to help provide outstanding service to key strategic customers. The role includes building and refining fulfillment analysis and quality performance to our customers as well as analyzing changes to supply chain and sales processes to enhance the customer experience. This position will also provide robust and efficient support of information flows among the Drive teams and back to the customer.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maximize strategic customer line fill rate through analysis, coordination, and execution among the sales, planning, customer service, and operational teamsIdentify gaps in supply and coordinate with the demand and buying teams to proactively prevent out of stocks whenever possibleSupport Customer Excellence Manager in preparing customer performance analyses including root cause and proposed remediationSupport changes to Supply Chain processes and systems to improve productivity, reduce expenses and increase customer satisfaction with respect to strategic customersWorks cross-functionally to enable efficient flow of product through the supply chainAssist in the development of performance metrics to accurately and effectively measure network performance related to strategic customer performance and benchmarking against previous internal performance as well as outside world class organizationsCollaborates with all departments to successfully implement continuous improvement activitiesRecommends changes and facilitates solutions for improvement to the company’s ability to maintain and improve customer experienceOther duties may be assigned.QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:Ability to prepare and analyze data and provide opportunitiesDemonstrated skills in continuous learning, flexibility, customer focus, quality commitment and good relationships are requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills for both formal and informal communicationsExcellent organization skillsAttention to detail and follow upExperience of supply chain discipline, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, quality management, logistics, distribution and planningAbility to work successfully in a team environmentProficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, Power Point)EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Supply Chain, or other 4 year degree or equivalent experience1+ years of progressive supply chain and/or customer service experience in a global manufacturing or distribution environment with proven track record
