Position Overview: The Director of Sales thrives in a dynamic and high energy environment. The DOS is inspired by the challenge of leading their entire sales team, setting the strategy in place, and driving their execution. They are accountable for realizing the full potential of Wireless Vision, by coaching and developing their District Managers to hire and lead top performing Sales Leaders and Sales Teams. The DOS is responsible for the overall culture, productivity, profitability and effectiveness of their assigned regional territory. They are accountable to improve the customer experience, operational excellence and attainment of revenue, sales and profitability targets. This leader will have a close working relationship with the other functional groups in order to collaborate on all business decisions and needs, including: Marketing, Operations, Loss Prevention, Human Resources, Recruiting, Real Estate, Finance, and corporate T-Mobile partners. Responsibilities: Responsible for 60+ Retail stores and 300+ people. Responsible to support and growth of 5-10 District Managers and Market Sales Trainers. Work closely with this group to inspect sales processes and behaviors and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Demonstrates a record of accomplishment of building winning teams and implementing strategies to grow top and bottom players Strong effective communication skills, present ideas and information in a way that creates a climate in which others are informed and want to participate in driving organizational changes and priorities. Manage the growth of the region and company profitability through detailed P&L strategies, analysis, action planning and follow up with their leadership team. Develop quarterly business plans and strategies to direct consistent growth in market share and profitability. Ability to foster professional development of field leaders through coaching and feedback on results; building strong development plans for high performers; and moving decisively on performance problems. Encourage employee retention with region through effective performance management paired with consistent accountability and career planning practices. Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key department leaders. Values and capitalizes on diversity of backgrounds and thought processes to create a culture of diversity and inclusion. Leads by example and spend ample amount of time in stores and markets to identify opportunities for sales and customer experience improvement. Demonstrated high ethical and moral behavior, unquestionable integrity and character. Position Requirements Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of significant sales and operational experience in a multi-unit regional sales role. Able to align with the company's culture and values, a visible leader as perceived by colleagues A professional who demonstrates a "take charge" spirit; moves others to action by planning, motivating, organizing, and controlling work being done. Able to act as a confidant of the senior management team on sensitive strategic and personnel matters. A good balance of risk taking and judgment, confidence, assertiveness, open-mindedness and flexibility. This candidate will have experience in a multi-region retail sales environment. Bachelor's degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Excellent communications and influencing skills. 50-75% travel required.Is this the right career for you?
