The Vera Institute of Justice seeks two Coordinators who, in collaboration with the Center Administrative Manager, will handle the administrative work of the Center on Victimization and Safety. The Coordinator reports directly to the Center Administrative Manager, and indirectly to the Center Director, Deputy Center Director, and Center Associate Director. The Center on Victimization and Safety employs a diverse, interdisciplinary staff who work collaboratively across projects. Responsibilities Provide timely and efficient administrative support to the Center Director, Deputy Director, and Associate Director, including managing calendars, arranging meetings, fielding telephone calls, writing correspondence on their behalf, and other administrative duties. Process and track invoices and expenses. Assist the Administrative manager in overseeing the administration of the Center's subcontracts. Coordinate staff and consultant travel and reimbursements. Provide logistical support to the Center's in-person and virtual trainings and meetings. Secure American Sign Language interpreters and other accommodations for meetings. Maintain databases and electronic and paper files for the Center. Field requests to the Center for information. Maintain relationships with vendors, consultants, and stakeholders working to end violence. Assist on other aspects of the project as requested. Qualifications Some college credits. At least one, and preferably three or more, years' relevant office experience. Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with, and without, close supervision. Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage work on multiple projects efficiently. Strong analytic, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills. A demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of language access and the Americans with Disabilities Act compliance is a plus. Experience with event planning a plus. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
