We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Recruiter to join our team of professionals. The position will be located in either our Melville, NY or Fairfax, VA corporate office. In this role, the Clinical Recruiter will be responsible for the following: Positively project the values and goals of NAPA with professionalism and maturity required to build credibility with clinical and administrative leadership, colleagues and prospects. Display a level of sophistication that allows easy interaction with existing and potential clinicians/colleagues as well as employees and clients. Thoroughly screen clinical candidates (anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists) through a variety of mediums to staff clinical teams managed by NAPA. Must demonstrate skill in engaging candidates over the phone to discuss opportunities. Participate in a wide variety of recruitment events such as national/state conferences, school career fairs, and nurse and resident dinners. Build and expand the candidate database by developing long term networking relationships with key resources to increase/broaden the pool of potential applicants. Research and develop new sourcing strategies. Post positions on job boards and school career offices. Maintain applicant tracking database, and prepare and present recruiting reports from database for on demand reports, and weekly, monthly and annual metrics and analytics. Coordinate all specifics related to an on-site interview including itinerary preparation. C oordinate subsequent clinical evaluations and site visits with Regional and Chief Anesthesiologist. Build relationships and interface effectively with the regional leadership team through regular status updates and by seeking appropriate guidance throughout the recruiting process. Collaborate with colleagues in the Recruitment and Marketing departments, to develop creative ways to establish and maintain relationships with new and existing candidates. Provide regular updates of advertising needs and determine, prioritize and plan advertising costs . The Location: The position will be located in either our Melville, NY or Fairfax, VA corporate office. Position Requirements : No less than 3 years' experience in corporate recruitment, preferable physician recruiting or equivalent healthcare experience. Must demonstrate ability to foster and maintain mutually respectful clinician relationships. Must possess e xcellent relationship building and networking skills, and strong written and oral communication, organizational, initiative and follow-up skills. Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast paced environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook and applicant tracking systems. iCIMS preferred. Must be very flexible with travel and work schedule ( ability to travel 15%; busy travel season September-December) and be available by cell phone on an as needed basis. Ability to work independently and as part of team, and be proactive. Ability to effectively manage projects and strategize accordingly. Requires the ability to handle a heavy workload under deadlines with autonomy and minimal supervision. High level of detail and accuracy is required. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
