Duffy Is My Name - Loyalty and Love is my Game
I am a 15 year YOUNG Cairn that needs a Forever Home. Now you ask: why do you need a Forever Home? So my story begins: My master fell in our home and I sat beside him for 36 hours before someone found us. I never left his side. I was loyal as could be and hoping he would be okay; but that was not to be. In the 36 hours I waited by his side comforting him, I didn't know what was going to happen to me either. I really miss him but I must go on to give someone else love and affection and hopefully they will in return learn to love me.
I Have a Spunky Attitude
I was surrendered by my master's family since no one wanted to take care of me. I was born on April Fool's Day but a fool I am not! I still have a spunky attitude and I like to play with the other Cairns in the house. I am deaf, but not totally, I hear when I want to. I'm as alert as some of the young "whipper snappers" around here.
Vet Tells Me I'm in Pretty Good Shape
I am healthy as can be too. The Vet said I am in "pretty good shape". Like any senior, my Giddy-Up n' Go isn't always Giddy-Up n' Fast, but once I get up I can run with the best of them.
No Cairn Is More Loyal Than Duffy
Are you looking for a loyal boy to keep you company? If so, I am your boy.
From Foster Mom
Hello everyone this is Duffy's foster mom. Duffy is the sweetest little guy. We lovingly call him "old man of the house". He plays so good with the other Cairns in the house, but when he gets tired, he will jump on the couch and go to sleep.
Humans Yes - Cats No Thank You
He likes to be near you, but he's not a velcro boy. He sits beside me on the couch and wants me to pet him, when I stop he starts pawing me to "rub more". When I finally stop, he's just goes to other side of the couch and lies down. Duffy needs a home without cats.
You Will Find No Better Companion Than Duffy
Duffy is a great companion and just wants a loving family and home in which to spend the rest of his life. Being a senior isn't a fault it's a blessing.
Like all CRUSA dogs, Duffy is up-to-date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, has tested negative for heartworm disease, micro-chipped and is on a monthly heartworm preventative.
