T is for Travis, a 7 year old severely neglected Cocker Spaniel. Poor Travis is somewhat visually impaired and comes to us from the Brooklyn Shelter, where he came in as a stray. T is for Travesty, the only word that can adequately describe the condition of a dog who is matted to the skin, filthy, undernourished, and so infested with fleas and ticks that he became anemic. T is for Tumultous, which sums up this poor Angel's life. T is for Trust, what Travis needs to learn again. T is for Time, if not a healer of all wounds, then at least a salve that lessens their pain. T is for Tender, the kind of home we seek. T is for Tug, whether at a toy or at your heart. But, above all, T is for Travis, our latest neglect case who needs you now. To adopt or foster Travis, please email [email removed] and request an application. Despite all he has been through, Travis is a very sweet dog who wags his tail and shows no aggression. He has been neutered, microchipped, recently flea dipped, tested for heartworm and is current on all shots. Travis has just received a professional grooming (probably the first of his life) and is ready to discover what it means to be a well loved dog. T is for Today and a lifetime of happy Tomorrows.
