Meet Sparky ... he may have lost his home, but not his Spark. This handsome 13 year old purebred Cocker Spaniel comes to us from Animal Care and Control of NYC, where he was surrendered due to health issues. Well, as an older gent whose vetting had obviously been neglected for really quite some time, he was certainly in need of care, with badly infected ears and eyes and teeth in urgen
t need of attention. We are always very saddened to come across an older animal who has loyally given his best dog years to a family he loved, only in the end to find himself badly let down. Sparky is a very gentle, loving soul who deserves to live out his final years in comfort and dignity. We are currently raising money to meet his medical costs and are requesting the help of the public. As we are a 501(c) corporation, all donations are tax-deductible. Sparky is in addition seeking a foster home where someone can administer meds and provide general TLC (the foster will not be expected to meet medical expenses).
