Address:2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn, NY 11208
Breed:American Staffordshire Terrier/mix mix
A volunteer writes: Violet was shy and nervous when she first arrived, but has since acclimate and revealed the lovable and affectionate dog described by her previous owners. Her coloring is unique and her smile is one to beat — she’s SO beautiful! She’s very easy to handle and has even been used to help show new volunteers the ropes. If I kneel down to pet her she’ll gently prop her paws up on my shoulders and kiss my face…wiggling her tail the whole time! She is treat motivated and a star at commands (she already knows “sit,” “down,” and “paw”!). She lights up at the sight of any toy and loves to play fetch. She is reported to be housetrained, well-behaved when home alone and to have been respectful of the nine-year-old she lived with. She had a tendency to guard her toys, but not her food, and hates baths. She is fun, incredibly sweet, and eager to take root in a home — please come see her at Brooklyn ACC!
Another staff member writes: Violet is a beautiful young lady–only three years old. She loves to play fetch the ball and is well trained. Might you enjoy a nice game of catch? Come meet this fun-loving pooch.
