Primary ongoing responsibility is for management of projects. Focuses on meeting project commitments, including communications with team members, stakeholders, etc. Builds plans, manages projects to success, implementation and introduction of projects for new systems, business process improvement for existing systems and technologies. Helps stakeholder define requirements, identify the root cause issues, and ensures solutions, and deliverables. Designs and implements projects requiring extensive systems integration, large teams & stakeholders collaboration, proper organization communication is provided and can support projects on multiple technical platforms.Duties and Responsibilities:Obtain business requirements, Lead planning and/or implementation of projects. May participate in the design and/or testing phases.Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas and develop methods to monitor project or area progress.Evaluates and recommends new technical directions and approaches to senior management. Serves as an expert resource in the organization on project management.Develops staff for both technical and project leadership roles. Assigns project work and mentors/approves work output. Negotiates terms with vendors and manages their work.Anticipates and addresses implementation obstacles by devising approaches to assess the situation, developing and testing options, and introducing new procedures or tools.Responsibility for assembling the project staff; for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or termination during the project or projects.Manage project budget and resource allocation.Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements. Interact regularly with existing or potential internal customers to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery.Present oral and written reports: justification for new projects, plans, capacity planning to support the new project, ability to find root cause and implement problem resolution, and communicate resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
