The role requires you to help support an existing customer base while building a service team in an area currently supported by service teams in New York City. Key Responsibilities· Ensures that all aspects of on-the-job safety are maintained, including compliance with Nalco Safety policies.· Develops strong relationships with customers and monitors overall customer satisfaction.· Leads small teams (2-4 people) in industrial cleaning services (condensers, air handlers, and domestic water systems)· Installs, commissions, maintains, and repairs water treatment/filtration applications.· Documents and communicates completed services by providing clarity and value to the customer. Territory Information: Based out of our College Point Queens Service Center, the service area will consist of New York City and the surrounding area. Customers in this area include: Hospitality, Universities, Commercial Office Buildings, and Food/Beverage Plants. Basic Qualifications· High School Diploma or equivalent· 2-3 years working in the trades (plumbing, electrical, mechanical)· 2-3 years’ experience with customer service (field based)· Leadership experience leading small teams (1-5 people)· Knowledge of water filtration (reverse osmosis)· Strong mechanical aptitude· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Strong computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and ability to learn internal business systems)Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordPreferred Qualifications· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an industrial, mechanical, or technical specialty· 5+ years’ experience in plumbing and electrical· Experience with domestic and condenser water systems, boiler systems, pipe design, and instrumentation installation.· Track record of successful interaction with customers as part of a field installation and service team.· Experience managing installation projects.
