The Americas Data Quality team is responsible for the quality of both financial and demographic data that is viewed by internal and external clients via the Private Banks online client applications as well as through various reporting mediums. The group works closely with the Banking and Product teams, Investment Counselors, Portfolio Managers, Operations, Technology and other Client Reporting teams to analyze complex data and data flow issues and resolving inquires while maintaining a robust set of projects and system enhancements across the client reporting program. Key responsibilities include: Proactively drive improvements with quality of client reporting by documenting use-cases, business requirements and test case scenarios Ability to understand and follow data processing lineage Undertake root cause analysis for banking and investment data; Ability to evaluate and identify where system or process enhancements are required Undertake analysis to extract data quality requirements from the business and translate them into data quality rules Provide support as the lead SME for offshore team on more complex day to day issues. Resolve all internal data exceptions in timely and accurate manner. Update and collaborate with global regional partners on data quality issues and controls to ensure global standardization Develop and maintain effective review procedures to support financial data quality. Ability to develop solid business requirements and technical specifications for systems testing Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to multi task and produce high quality, accurate work Key partnerships with Internal groups in Operations and technology, including global data quality regional groups Assist department head on critical projects and tasks Qualifications Qualifications Accounting or Finance Degree 2-5 years of Financial Services Industry Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex data integrity issues Team focused and able to collaborate effectively with organizational partners and team Strong Investment and Banking Product Knowledge Strong writing and verbal communication skills Demonstrate proficiency with Excel VBA, SQL-Server/Oracle Database Proficient understanding with front to back system flow Experience with Private Banking, client reporting processing systems, investment performance measurement a plus
