Vintage 70s Snakeskin Extra Wide Belt
It's snake, not snake-embossed leather - from the early 70s. This is from my personal stash - that's why I know exactly the age. I bought it at Bloomingdale's for $100 back in 1973.
3 inches wide and 29 inches long, with 4 sets of double holes for brass closures (invisible when closed.) The belt shows sensational, designer construction - sturdy and strong. Leather-backed. No labels. A bonus feature is that the set of holes nearest the end will accommodate a brooch or other ornament, if desired.
You'll find these belts in this Excellent Condition selling in high-end New York vintage shops for $200 - $500.
