Domestic Short Hair - Mommy Cat - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat
This beautiful cat is named Mommy Cat. This poor kitty has had a very difficult life so far. Tragically, her beloved owner passed away, and she had been living in a home with another cat (presumably her son) for two months alone. They were left to fend for themselves in a house without heat or running water. Thankfully, some good Samaritans discovered that they were in the house and came to feed them, give them water, and then were finally able to place the two cats here at Bideawee. After being on her own for so long, Mommy Cat has grown shy towards people, and doesn't like to be handled too much. The Bideawee staff and volunteers have done their best to give her all of the socialization, TLC, and attention she so needs and deserves. She is warming up to the staff nicely, but requires a patient, adult only home, with dedicated owners, who understand the trauma she has been through.
