Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, Primary Mills and Special Projects you will have the following responsibilities for the plants located in Rockingham (NC), Mechanicville (NY), Memphis (TN) and Ransom (PA):Ø Develop a business strategy for the business units in line with the business unit’s vision and world class practices.Ø Ensure implementation of the best standardized business practices in your units and in all areas of activities;Ø Develop an action plan aiming at optimizing operational efficiency and ensure resources optimization;Ø Establish OHS priorities of business unit and ensure follow-up. Make a personal commitment and demonstrate strong leadership in health and safety;Ø Optimize synergy and foster collaboration among Cascades’ groups, units and business units.Ø Participate to the business process re-engineering of Cascades and ensure their implementation in your business unit;Ø Ensure the sound financial management of units as well as CAPEX follow-up;Ø Maximize the return on the assets under responsibility;Ø Manage and mobilize human resources based on the values of the company and on the business strategy;Ø Ensure the implementation of practices that are in line with our client-centric business vision;Ø Promote and support a culture of innovation to create added value for the client. Ø Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Administration and a minimum of 10 years of experience as a manager;Ø Strong experience in project management, operational efficiency and administration;Ø Multi-site management;Ø Operational knowledge of the units, i.e. core processes, critical equipment, productivity measures and product specifications;Ø Demonstrate rigour, accountability, perspective and well known for being customer-oriented;Ø Leadership encouraging employees’ participation.
