Bilingual Chinese Desktop Support Consultant ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Setup, upgrade and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 7 OS desktop and notebook computers2. Set up and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals3. Maintain inventory of all hardware and software resources4. Maintain excellent communication with all end users and other members of the IT department.5. Maintain and safeguard business data by backup all user data before upgradeNECESSARY SKILLS and ABILITIES:1. Ability to install, remove, or repair microcomputer components2. Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry best practices and procedures3. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment4. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people5. Ability to operate microcomputers and peripherals to include monitors, printers, and scanners.6. Bilingual (English and Chinese)REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND and/or EXPERIENCEThe successful candidate will have the following experience or knowledge in the following areas:1. Associates degree; supplemented with specialized training and two (2) years of related work experience2. Setup, configuration, troubleshooting of desktop/notebook hardware and software (Windows OS) in enterprise networked environment3. Fluent using ghost software tool to upgrade and recover Windows desktop4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010, office 3605. Experience supporting Outlook 2010 in a Microsoft Exchange environment6. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e.DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc)7. Some knowledge of Active Directory concepts and administration8. Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds9. Trains and orients staff on use of hardware and software
