The U.S. Retail Bank is a leading business within Citi's Global Consumer Banking ("GCB") global business line. With $146B in Deposits, $6B in Loans, $50B AUM, over 8,000 employees and over 700 retail branches, the business provides both traditional banking and wealth management services to consumers and small business customers. The U.S. Retail Bank Finance team supplies the CEO of the business, the business leadership team, GCB CFO and key senior management with analysis and insight into U.S. Retail Bank financial results and projections. Through this analysis, the team facilitates decision making at a senior level to drive performance in each of the Retail Bank's business segments, products and functions. The team manages the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and performance analysis and the CCAR process to drive the long-term performance of the franchise. The team also coordinates planning and analytics for investment initiatives, efficiency and productivity actions and net interest margin. The prospective hire in U.S. Retail Bank Finance will: Prepare and provide financial reporting and analysis directly to customer segment leadership Benchmark segment performance, evaluate the financial performance of important business initiatives and relay observations to business and finance leadership Forecast customer segment performance Provide analytical support to senior U.S. Retail and Global Consumer leadership from a finance perspective Help develop and monitor critical KPIs for customer segments Assist the broader U.S. Retail Finance team in analyzing and communicating U.S. Retail Bank financial results to leadership during Flash, Outlook, actuals, Plan and CCAR processes Support regulatory reporting requirements through partnership with Citi cross-functional teams Qualifications Undergraduate experience in finance or accounting and 3-5 years of work experience in a financial analysis role (financial planning function preferred) Very strong Excel / PowerPoint knowledge required; Essbase proficiency preferred Highly developed quantitative and analytical skills required Ability to create and manage complex financial models and communicate the outputs thereof Candidate must possess strong communication skills and be efficient, organized and highly motivated Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a part of a broader team
